Since I started working in health & wellness 10 years ago, I've been exposed to incredibly inspiring feats of love, compassion, recovery, and innovation. I have seen babies born (and grow up quite a bit), people overcoming what they believed to be life-long injuries, and a quiet, consistent spirit of community.
I also see these amazing qualities & capabilities sometimes muddled by stress, pain, and lack of confidence. There are challenges that keep us from our best self.
Imagine having a toolkit that you can rely on for physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. That can provide a kind of a road map to your best self. Something that helps you feel strong, capable, and that you can rely on when times get tough. Something that could be social, or you can do all by yourself.
Yoga can be that!
You don't need to be flexible (maybe a little mentally flexible, but definitely not physically), you don't need to look a certain way, or have any fancy supplies.
All yoga needs is you.
We often think of yoga as something that we do in a big group with relatively little discussion. That's unfortunate - there are a lot of questions that come up in yoga! One-on-one sessions provide an opportunity for the content and conversation to be completely customized to you, and the results often feel like magic. I have worked with folk experiencing immense pain, and leaving feeling like $100 bucks...all under their own power!
Imagine what taking those tools home could do for you.
