Full Moon Hypnosis with Iantha D. Greer

The Full Moon is a time of illumination and completion, when you can reflect on who you are and what you represent to others. In this guided hypnotherapy session, you can travel into your deep subconscious to increase confidence, self-heal, and discover your full potential. This is a time for looking at the big picture and taking control of your 'full self'. Maximum 10 people per session. There will be a 5 minute journaling and 10 minute tea/discussion time at the end of the session. data from your collection.

Intro to Acro with Sheila

Acroyoga blends yoga with partner acrobatics.
It is a minimum 3-person adventure: base, flyer, and spotter.

Explore the basics of acroyoga, developing the skills, both physical and social to practice safely and have fun.

A gentle yoga interlude for adults wishing to give themselves the gift of respite and some breathing space from the flurry and folly of the season.

This class will begin with gentle standing yoga, moving into yin postures, and finally ease into some delicious restorative poses.

 

While drop-ins are welcome, please register if you can! We will require a minimum of 5 participants to go forward.

The essence of Yin is ”surrender”. Yin yoga is a gentle, quiet practice suitable for all levels. This yoga practice restores energy while at the same time, calms the nervous system. Yin yoga creates space and increases flexibility by inviting the deepest myofascial tissues, ligaments & tendons closest to the spine & around the joints to release gently and slowly. Foam rollers and/or balls will be used for self-massage & myofascial release. Prerequisites: Willingness to quiet the mind and just "BE."

We are now in the deepest, darkest part of winter.

Offered late in the evening to encourage time away from distractions, these three sessions blend slow hatha and restorative yoga, breathwork, meditation, and self-massage together to honour the natural tendency to turn inward during this time of year, to tend your inner fire, and move into the new year rested and refreshed.

Time will be made available for conversation and exploration of what comes up after class.

EN: Yin Yoga allows you to let go of tensions in the body and nervous system. Focus on the ultimate calm by relaxing the muscles, sciatic nerves & ligaments. Stretch to untangle the body. Each session is between seven and ten poses, held on the floor. Level: very little cardio, effort in relaxation, slow rhythm.

 

FR: Le Yin Yoga Il permet un grand relâchement des tensions du corps et du système nerveux. Passant par l’assouplissement des muscles, du nerf sciatique et des ligaments; il favorise une détente optimale. Entre 7 et 10 postures soutenues au sol sont proposées à chacun des cours. EN: This in-movement Hatha Vinyasa practice has a substantial impact on the body & its energy flow. Physically, you will notice that the natural flow of movement resembles dance. Vinyasa moulds the body with the energy, warmth, breathing & power it generates. Level: moderate to intense cardio, sustained & in-motion effort.

 

FR: Le Vinyasa, cette pratique du Hatha en mouvement a un impact substantiel sur le corps et la circulation de son énergie. Le flow naturel des séquences s’apparente à la danse. Postnatal with Shelby

Postnatal yoga is a wonderful way to reconnect with your body after pregnancy. It can gently ease you back into activity while offering relief to areas of tension after giving birth. In this class, we will focus on regaining core strength through a series of poses that engage the pelvic floor muscles while working with the breath. Don’t worry, there will also be plenty of restorative poses to help promote relaxation and openness in the muscles that need it the most. This 1 hour class will be the perfect start to your Sunday and you won’t regret making time for it. 

 

Prerequisites: 6-8 weeks after birth. In cases of cesarean section wait 12 weeks or until incision has fully healed. *Please leave baby at home so you can make the most out of this class!

Chair Yoga with Sheila

This chair- and standing- based class lets you explore gentle movement and strength in a relaxed, easy-going way. Release your neck and shoulders, get in touch with your breath and core, and learn some yoga that you can do anywhere! Great for office workers, and those that don't like to kneel or the gettings-up, and goings-down of a traditional yoga class. Come enjoy yoga that fits your body!

Tune in and feel all the opportunities for growth, balance, and ease... Designed to get everyone moving and breathing easy, with special consideration for those who are stiff, inflexible, and new to yoga. This is a fluid hatha flow with influences from tai chi, and restorative yoga. It's not about looking any certain way in the yoga poses, but figuring out what feels good and watching your comfort zone expand!

Prenatal with Shelby

Prenatal yoga can be a powerful tool for any expecting woman. This practice will offer relief for any areas of the body under stress during pregnancy and labour:  focusing on everything from strength, to restorative yoga. Everything we do in prenatal will focus around the breath because that is our most important tool, helping you prepare physically and emotionally for this life changing experience.
